Hi there, Iām Lisa.
I am a voice, dialect and speech coach as well as an actor. I am also a qualified Drama/ English Secondary School teacher, a professional facilitator, and a civil celebrant!
After completing professional actor training at the Ballarat Arts Academy and a Masters of Teaching with the University of Melbourne, I went on to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma in Voice Studies from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).
I love helping others to feel more empowered through body, breath and voice work. I regularly work with actors and performers, but often also work with a range of other professional voice users and people who simply wish to improve their ability to communicate effectively and confidently.
My approach to voice is largely grounded in the teachings of F.M Alexander, Kristen Linklater, Patsy Rodenburg, Barbara Houseman, and Cicely Berry amongst others.
I am a proud member of both the Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA) and the Voice and Speech Teachers' Association (VASTA).
I hope to meet you soon and work with you on your voice!
